Even during the sunniest weather, temperatures in Malaga seldom exceed 35ºC / 95ºF. Most evenings and nights in Malaga are generally mild, although a light jacket or jumper is often needed on cooler nights. Malaga's summer climate does not tend to be particularly humid and so even during the hottest weather, the heat is quite comfortable and does not feel 'sticky' or oppressive.

Although autumn brings many fine days, October and November can feature some intermittent rainy weather, often followed by a mixture of clouds and sunshine. Autumn temperatures remain mild and many people choose to visit Malaga at this time of the year, to take advantage of the fine weather and the reduced numbers. Temperatures in late September average around 27ºC / 81ºF, falling to 20ºC / 68ºF in late October and November.

Protected by a mountainous region and warm coastlines, winter temperatures in Malaga, between November to January, hover around 16ºC / 61ºF. Although the weather and climate in Malaga is still fairly mild during the winter months, additional clothing is required and evenings become much colder. Windy weather, overcast skies and heavy rain can result in temperatures quickly falling, although Malaga's winter months also offer many sunny days.
